Hi! I’m Michelle, and my passion is teaching Ultrasound (especially Breast Ultrasound). I’m an RDMS (Breast, OBGYN, and Abdomen) and an RVT.
I first joined the world of Ultrasound back in 2005 as a graduate of Bellevue College in Washington State. Nearly 2 decades later, I’m back teaching at the very place where my journey began.
I went into the Ultrasound field thinking that I wanted to do OB (like many of us I suspect), but had the chance to train in a high-volume Breast Center, and went down a career pathway that I not only never expected, but didn’t even realize existed. After my Mother was diagnosed with and passed away from Breast Cancer, spreading knowledge of Breast Ultrasound became not only my career, but also my personal mission.
I started my YouTube channel, Sonography Minutes with this purpose in mind. Today it has reached over 100,000 people and I’ve had the privilege of spreading my vast knowledge of Breast Ultrasound with many corners of the world.

I currently serve as the head General Scan Lab Instructor at Bellevue College and I’ve used my expertise in the Breast field to develop a Bachelor’s level Breast Ultrasound course for both Sonographers and Mammographers.
In my free time, I’m a wife and a busy Mom to 3 boys, one of them with special needs.

Sonography Student Scholarship
The Ultrasound Schools Info student scholarship is a national, semi-annual, non-renewable $1,000 scholarship awarded to an aspiring sonographer currently enrolled in a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program, or a high school student who has been accepted to a program.
